Megan Macuen is a weaver and sculptor. She was Born in Basalt, Colorado in 1983 and currently lives and works in Cuyamungue, New Mexico. Her work regards sociobiopolitical subcultures and the poetics of objects and spaces through open-ended research practices.

Megan has an MFA from California State University Long Beach, and a BS in Wilderness Therapy from Northern Arizona University. She also studied herbal medicine at the North American Institute of Medicinal Herbalism, and Industrial Sewing and Design at the Emily Griffith Institute.
